Nikon FE

Here are some more photos I took on my Nikon FE. This roll is pretty old, as indicated by the Chinese New Year goodies. The last half of this roll was actually shot pretty hastily since I needed to lend my sister my FE.

Still abusing that f1.8 :)

I've actually been shooting with a Canon AE-1 Program lately, so those are getting scanned soon.

Some photos

I recently bought a Nikon FE in an effort to force myself into re-familiarising myself with manual photography, so here are some photos from the first roll of film I shot. I haven't shot film in at least 4 years, and I limitted myself to things in and around the house, so don't expect much.

PS: I know what you're all thinking, this girl loves f/1.8. and yeah, I do. I have a tendency to just leave it there and never change it, but I plan on growing out of this habit.

Sleep well, Steve Jobs.

“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful, that’s what matters to me."
It may be the end of an era, but the legacy lives on.

Some images I made in Illustrator while I was bored.

neo rauch, taste of cherry, moroccan wind

I thought I'd get back into this whole "updating my blog" thing by getting back into "scanning things that currently strike my fancy." So.

Neo Rauch's Der Auftrag (actually a test print for my printer)
Abbas Kiarostami's Taste of Cherry (about four dozen sorts of amazing)
Cire Trudon x Barneys New York's Sidi Kacem (Morocco) candle (it is warm and light, smells of mint tea, anise, and verbena. I'd like to point out that the glass is actually red, but scanners detest scanning clear things)
