Anyway, here's a mini recap since I basically told all the deets and fangirled with my girl Lisa, and she's one of the few who just understands, and doesn't judge me for the complete moron that I am.

This is the cover of my copy of Brother's Blood.

This is the inside cover. It says "Pauline! Great to see you again - xo - KD" and oh my goodness he remembered me. The last time I saw him was two years ago at the Chain Reaction, where he headlined and played a 20 song set.
Setlist:
Just Stay - great way to start off the set
Yr Husband
Carnival
Another Bag of Bones
Cotton Crush - I always say this song is way too short and it is! I wish it'd never end.
I Could Be With Anyone
Buried By the Buzz - MADE ME SO FUCKING HAPPY
She Stayed As Steam
Brother's Blood - some SERIOUS jamming went down during this song and it was beautiful. Teppei was on keys :')
I asked about finding his old albums (Circle Gets the Square and Make the Clocks Move) and he mentioned that Split the Country and Make the Clocks Move will be rereleased by Triple Crown with new packaging, new liner notes, etc later this year. Awesome.
but um he's wonderful and I'm looking forward to Bad Books with Andy Hull (to be released in October) and I can't wait to see him live again.
